SSI Board members arriving on Thursday Jun 16
- Plan to arrive 15:53h at Engelberg latest. The hotel is 2 minutes walking distance from the railway station.
- 16:30 SSI Board, meeting room “Händel” at the Kursaal. SAFE-ID staff will guide you. Light food and drinks will be served in the meeting room.
- 19:15 Kursaal Lobby: Aperitif and introduction session with speakers, Scientific Board, SSI & SAFE-ID Board
- 20:00h: Dinner at Bellevue Terminus Hotel with everybody present

Participants arriving on Friday Jun 17
- Important note: we have an issue with train capacity from Lucerne to Engelberg. If the weather is nice, the train leaving Lucerne at 09:10 will be crowded with hikers.
- 8:10 dep Lucerne, track 12; ar Engelberg 08:53. This train is less crowded. We recommend this connection for those who manage. No seats reserved on this train.
- 9:10 dep Lucerne, track 13; ar Engelberg 09:53. This train may be very full. We reserved 44 seats 2nd class and 32 seats 1st class.
- Hotels Bellevue, H+ and Schweizerhof are very close to the railway station. Please deposit your luggage at your hotel and come to the Kursaal lobby for coffee and registration.
- Hotel Terrace residents: we have storage room for your luggage at the Kursaal.
- 09:45 Registration open, Kursaal lobby, entry Kempinsky Palace building, right side. No entry through the hotel. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
- 10:40 meeting start, Kursaal
Arriving by car
All hotels have limited parking space outside. The H+ hotel has a covered garage, charges apply.

Networking time and side meetings; room requirements
The programme includes a time slot for networking on Saturday Jun 18 in the afternoon, from 13:45h to 15:45h. If you need a room or any equipment for a side meeting, please contact secretary@safe-id.ch
Covid-19 safety concept
Hand disinfectant is available at the hotels and at the Kursaal. We have rapid test kits available onsite. Contact SAFE-ID staff if you need a rapid test.
We have no face masks onsite. If you prefer wearing one, take them with you please.

- For any question or concern, contact secretary@safe-id.ch
- Any changes regarding chosen arrival, departure or optional bookings must be communicated to us. Do not contact your hotel directly.
- Please note that the cancellation deadline expired May 31. For cancellations arriving now, we will keep your registration fee.
